Commercial Barrister and Mediator.
I was born, raised and educated in Yorkshire and trained at the commercial chancery bar in London before returning to ‘God’s Own County’ in 1989. As a barrister, I have only ever done commercial and property work for the last 20 years, making me a specialist in these areas of law having worked on countless cases of all shapes and sizes. I am an Accredited Mediator, member of the Institute of Directors and am on the Board of Young Enterprise North Yorkshire. I have a keen interest in all things business and rural and enjoy motorcycling around the UK and Europe with friends.
Whether you are a Solicitor, member of the public, business owner or business/private client adviser, when you instruct me, you are accessing a senior, experienced professional who is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for your case from beginning to end.
My extensive experience includes acting on behalf of clients such as company directors, HR managers, Local Authorities, property developers and owners of manufacturing plants/business parks/industrial estates on cases involving tenancies/leasehold disputes, workplace conflict, commercial contracts, directors’ duties, shareholders’ rights, partnership disputes, professional negligence, insolvency, and commercial farming arrangements.
Charities I support include Sue Ryder as a member of the Manorlands Business Club.
